Remarks: Permission OK! What a great view from the inside, watching only 1/2 of what there is to FRA airport. Impresive friendly crew and equiptment! Working in one of the best spots ever, at 130meters off the ground! I was simply amazed by this oportunity I had!! Who said it was impossible? Thanks to the person whomade this possible!
Remarks: After 60 years, on this day the US Air Force returned their land to FRAPORT in a big ceremony. This is the last regular C-17, receiving a water cannon salute. Parked at the military apron are all USAF aircraft which recently flew into FRA: Hercules, Starlifter, Galaxy, KC10, B707, and Globemaster. The Lufthansa 747 is the first German airliner to be parked on the military apron. Farewell US Troops, you made that airport special. C-17 captains words: "Thanks for 60 years of very good work, Globemaster C-17 is now out."
Remarks: The spotting location on the roof is currently closed. Seen during taxiing to the gate (with the D-AIQU A320 Lufthansa after a flight from Amsterdam)
