Remarks: HKG is known for lots of cargo visitors, but here you find no Cathay freighters! Looks like HKG became little Memphis, there are actually 5 Fedex planes (2 MD11F and 3 77F) in this photo, including the World MD-11 parked right next to the family. We usually don't have that many FDX at a time, not to mention they parked together side by side. Also pay attention to a large amount of vehicles and lorries running around on the apron. The building on the left is the DHL Logistic Centre.
Remarks: This is such a classic scheme of Air China. The black nose and the black paint under the cockpit window. Seen here moment before rotate on runway 20R.
Remarks: Miss OneWorld lifts off in front of another plane with a pair of nice wing. Also note that the word OneWorld is reflected over the right wing.
Remarks:"Springbok 286" landing right on the bars on runway 07R after the long flight from Johannesburg. Passenger flights don't usual get 07R, and for SAA to land here, makes it even more unusual.
Remarks: This control tower is just like the other ''traditional'' towers located on the airfield like the other North American airports. Except those fancy ones at the big airports.
Remarks: Not long after the Puma landed on the GFS helipad, she taxied to one of the ramp to have a shower. It is just like we go to the shower after playing at a beach. The Puma came back with a fire bucket and since she used sea water to fight hill fire, she has to be washed to prevent rusting.
