Remarks: This P-3C Forms part of VP-47 known as 'The Golden Swordsmen' and is based in Hawaii. This squadron is know as 'The Best of the West' for P-3 Orion operations. This was one of the last approaches during a 2 hour touch and go programme from this P-3C. We waved at the aircraft while it was climbing from a touch and go and the woman pilot dropped the wing to wave to us and then leveled off to maintain runway heading. Very nice gesture which was very appreciated from the Spotters which were around me including me. Here infact we can see the P-3C doing this 'wing drop'.Thank you! 1500 pixels

Remarks: After returning from a mission over saltwater, the aircraft must be rinsed. In Nordholz one taxiway hast a special platform for this maneuver.
