Remarks: This photo was taken during the first Mediterranean cruise of CVN-71 USS T. Roosevelt with CVW-8 onboard, this air wing was unique in the Atlantic fleet because operates two A-6 Intruder Sqdrons at the same time. VA-36 "Roadrunners" and VA-35 "Black Panthers" with VF-84 "Jolly Rogers" Tomcat in foreground, note also the recenly delivered mail over the flightdeck.
