Remarks: Departed on the east rwy from Berlin (Tegel). Climbing on the SID with Berlin city on the port side in late evening sun, sunset quickly approaches as we break into the lower cloud layer - Can you spot any landmarks? How about the old Templehof Airport, Tiergarten (Reichstag, Brandenberg Gate), TV Tower etc..
Remarks: On behalf of the Royal celebrations, ATC tower was wrapped in with a large orange ribbon. Too bad to strong winds it was removed the day after. So consider this to be a rare shot!
Remarks: Air France flight AF690 just over an hour late arriving from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. Nice to see their 747-400 in their new colors before they are all phased out.
