Remarks: A very special plane looking quite impressive from a head-on angle.
Remarks: Ex-China Airlines 747-400 now flying for this small, but growing German cargo airline.
Remarks: Ah I love summer when you can get photos like this.
Remarks: Low pressure air holds less moisture and that is the reason that on humid days we see fogging up of air inside the engine intakes as visible on these big GE90 sucking in huge amounts of air.
Remarks: Blasting off runway 25L with the lush green hills in the background. Also visible are some cable cars of the Ngong Ping 360 tourist attraction, which takes punters up to visit the largest outdoor seated buddah in the world.
Remarks: You know I never thought I would say this, but I will miss this scheme when it goes.
Remarks: You know summer has arrived in Hong Kong when you can start taking photos like this again. It's about time!
Remarks: A very attractive colour scheme which fits the A330 pretty well. These A330s have recently replaced the 767 service to Hong Kong which had been coming in for many years.
Remarks: One of the best looking colour schemes on a 747-400F I have seen. Something about a classic looking scheme on a modern airliner...
Remarks: The first A330 for Hong Kong Airlines, which has a total of 26 coming!! Whether they manage to be a real competitor to Cathay remains to be seen.
Remarks: Not the nicest of schemes but very different, so in a way it was nice to see. East Star has since gone bust and the owner has been jailed for fraud and corruption.
Remarks: I kind of miss seeing the Air Canada A340s in Hong Kong. They were always so low on departure and great for photos!
Remarks: What an absolutely gorgeous (and rare) blue sky!
Remarks: First photo in the database of the latest 737 to join the Hong Kong Express fleet, replacing sistership B-KBP which has been returned to the leasing company.
Remarks: A euro-white scheme yet a great looking one in my opinion. It suits most aircraft types well, including the 777-300ER which to be honest looks good with most schemes!
