Remarks: "The Wide Boys" - I counted around 63 aircraft on this photo of which at least 52 are wide bodies. Taking off from runway 27R on board BA A321, G-EUXC on our way to CDG. Wish the weather was a bit better!
Remarks: Crossing rwy 09R on our way to T4. At the beginning of the rwy you can see a BA A320, while an Aeroflot A321 is holding short and an Emirates A330 is taxiiing to the beginning of the rwy.
Remarks: Newly refurbished Terminal 3 of Heathrow, the stunning purple lightings and the grand opening at the entrance provide a very warm welcoming to the arriving check-in passengers. It's one of the most beautiful terminal ever designed.
Remarks: G-VFAB is at gate 1 and N751AN is at gate 2 in Terminal 3. The old control tower (decommissioned in early April 2007) and the central area are also visible. It depicts how congested and built up the central area is. It is also comparatively much smaller compared to other major airports, which are a lot less busier than LHR.
Remarks: Most of Terminal 1 and small part of Terminal 2 (bottom left) are visible on this shot. I counted 29 aircrafts and 18 empty gates on this picture. Wish the weather was a little better.
