Remarks:OUP122 performing a full afterburner take-off after divering to MLA a 2 days earlier when it had to land on 1 engine. Missing the OUP days where we had some interesting diversions in our airfield..but we can't complain!
Remarks:1600px - Lahob 241 seen backtracking rwy 31 for departure to Libya. Serving as an air ambulance during the Libya crises. This C17 was one of the top movements on our wishlist this year, finally what seemed to be a dream a couple of days earlier has become reality!
Remarks:1400px - "Jan Scheffer" rotating rwy 13 after a 2hr stop over in MLA. Although it's more then 35 years old, it is still one of the most beautiful flying machines around! Has seen various operators since its delivery in 1976, Martinair Holland, Garuda and Philippine Airlines were its primary operators before being converted as a refuelling tanker for the RNLAF.
Remarks:POD 31 retracting its gear after a touch & go rwy 31, used to arrive from NAS Sigonella and in addition to that, used be an almost regular visitor for circuits during the Libya conflict. But now that NATO ended the no fly zone we appreciate more and more the rarity of this wonderful old machine!

Remarks: Broken re-fuelling probe visible...diverted earlier that day and seen at apron 4 awaiting FAF technicians to fix in a new one. Very sad pictures for us to see as they remind us of the OUP days were diversions were very common!
