Remarks: US operates the CRJ900 to CLT a number of times a day. Seen here landing on 22L
Remarks: Its interesting how times have changed. The route this bird fly's was once served by a DC-10 a 767 or 757 and now a run of the mill 737..
Remarks: For an old bird she sure can get up!
Remarks: For all the side profile fans, its doesn't much more side profile then this.
Remarks: She thought she could sneak up behind me and taxi out of the sun but I managed to grab her before she did. Seen here taxing off of 22L on her way to the gate.
Remarks: Here's an interesting bird for JFK. EuroAtlantic has sent the 767s before but this is the first time I've seen the 757. Arriving on 13L
Remarks: Because of a crosswind even the 757s rolled long today.
Remarks: Off she goes from 22R!
Remarks: TAM rotates off of 22R on her way back south to Brazil.
Remarks: Singapore makes her daily appearance after a long trip around the world.
Remarks: Cathay's daily nonstop to Hong Kong departs in a nasty crosswind on runway 22R.
Remarks: At 7am I could have used a cup of Juan Valdez's strongest brew.
Remarks: Air Lasagna taxis out for departure.
Remarks: A spring storm begins to move in on JFK this morning. The folks who work in JFK Tower know the routine as the wind kicks up threatening to cause delays. They'll do their best with the tools they have to ensure flights arrive and depart on time.
Remarks: VT-ALA and company VT-ALB seen here side by side at T4. Both will be pulled to a hard stand where they will remain until their departure times.
