Remarks: Rolling out right to the end after landing on on 25 left...A nice surprise to see a QF 747-300 again...with 'Wunala Dreaming' and another -400 parked in the distance.
Remarks: Rare 1974 photo of Qantas B707-338C VH-EBV at Tullamarine, when the Melbourne Airport was three years old. (Qantas later operated a B747-338 also Registered VH-EBV.) This B707, named 'City of Tamworth' was delivered to Qantas on 06Jun1967. She was sold to Zambia Airways (9J-AEL) on 20May1977, and Trans Arabian (ST-ALP) in March 1989. She lives on as E-8C J-Stars 92-3290 based at 93rdACW, Robbins AFB Georgia USA. Two Ansett F-27s are at rear left.

Remarks: An unusual rear view of Classic Qantas B747-338 'City of Geraldton' at Sydney in Australia's Bi-Centennial Year - 1988. (Qantas previously operated a B707-338C also Registered VH-EBV.) A Continental Airlines B747 is at rear-left. Photo taken while I waited to board a Qantas flight to San Francisco via Honolulu aboard B747-238B VH-ECC. VH-EBV was the last Classic B747-338 operated by Qantas. She flew her final service from Sydney to Honolulu on 20Jan2009. She then ferried to Pinal Airpark, Tucson Arizona. This was the last Qantas B747 with an analogue cockpit and a Flight Engineer's station. Low res photo.
