Remarks: As soon as we lift of we take a sharp right turn to avoid the highground flying over Koolbaai on simpson bay,some of those boats could be worth as much as the aircraft at the airport
Remarks: The first Dutch Antilles Express flight to Aruba of the day and we are on-time and half way to Aruba when I took this photo. This is also the first ATR42 cabin photo of Dutch Antilles Express. Nice flight!
Remarks: On the approach to Sint Maarten, we passed by the Prickly Pear Cays, northern of Anguilla. My 400th photo on JP.net, dedicated to all the screeners, which do a fantastic job!!!
Remarks: Making our turn for final into St Maarten from EWR, we were treated to some of the beautiful scenerary the island had to offer. I later took a boat ride to this part of the island and it is just breathe taking!
Remarks: After lift off from runway 09 at Juliana a right turn is performed and we head South for a short distance now we are in a left turn to take up an easterly heading.

Remarks: Departing TNCM right after liftoff you see a large inlet. This is where all of the boats take refuge when a hurricane is heading toward the island, that is, those that haven't high-tailed it to some other island out of harm's way.
