This flight brought Dr. Vijay Mallya into DEL for the 2012 Formula 1 Indian Grand Prix that was happening over the weekend at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida. This bird is now Void of the Kingfisher Titles on her tail after the operational ownership of the ultra-luxurious Airbus A319-133ACJ (Airbus Corporate Jet) used by Kingfisher Airlines Chairman Vijay Mallya was transferred out of Kingfisher Airlines.
Remarks: Vijay Mallya's private jet taxis to a remote parking bay. He had arrived aboard this aircraft just an hour earlier to attend the Indian F1 Grand Prix scheduled for the next day.
Remarks: Lovely blue skies as we climb out of Delhi and turn south to Bangalore. This was my last flight on a Kingfisher narow body jet. Just a couple of months later, financial problems began to unravel at KF and the airline grounded most of its fleet and its schedule became too unreliable to fly.
