Remarks: President John F. Kennedy's wife, Jacqueline Kennedy, selected this colors of the first Air Force One, VC-137C 62-6000. The 707s served as presidential aircraft until they were replaced by 747-200s, designated VC-25, in 1990.
Remarks: What a great surprise to find this shiny four-holer parked on the R-apron at Schiphol. This great plane was here to drop off the US Secretary of State. Picture scanned from paper-print.
Remarks: USAF VC-135B 62-4169 with 'United States of America' titles, parked at RAAF Base Fairbairn in 1983. Barriers and security lighting have been positioned for an over-night stay. This aircraft is a 'Sister-Ship' to Military Airlift Command C-135B 62-4126 which I photographed at Fairbairn in September 1968. Low res photo.
Remarks: Rear section of the most famous Air Force One plane in the world. This is the one which flew over 400 SAM's in her lifetime, many of those for President Reagan.
