Remarks: The Thunderbirds did a Restricted practice Air Display over Townsville on 25Sep09, because airborne dust limited visibility to 4km (and 8km visibility was required to fly the un-Restricted Show.) Luckily, the East Coast dust cloud cleared enough overnight to allow a full flying program. The Major Drawcard at Townsville on 26Sep09 was a 30 minute display by the USAF Thunderbirds! (A rare event in Oz). A 'Four Ship' Formation does a slow Wheels Down pass at the 2009 Defence Force Air Display, over the Strand in Townsville. Great Formation Flying, Guys!
