Remarks: Built as P-40E-1-CU Kittyhawk 1a for RAF order as ET730 (allocated USAAF serial 41-36084) but diverted to Australia. Brought on RAAF charge as A29-133 on 8 June 42. Saw combat with 75 Sqn at Milne Bay, named 'Polly'. In 1943 to 82 Sqn, Bankstown, then 1 Engineering School in 1944. Disposed of c.1947 & in 1961 remains purchased by Nelson Wilson for restoration to fly, 1961-1991. Reg VH-NRW reserved but ntu. Acquired by Australian War Memorial 1992.
