Remarks: My very first shot of 2011 could not be under any better circumstances. Cold and rainy the day before and beautiful sunshine the next gave me this beautiful backdrop of a completely snow covered four-peaks mountain. A rare site in PHX indeed.
Remarks: Named Vega Girl, this long, sleek good looking A340-600 use to be a regular at Delhi till a while back, when VS downgraded this route to the A340-300. Always been a difficult catch ! But, spotting the first day of the new year - is always a pleasant thing.
Remarks:Brissy Lizzie taxiing out via Charlie and has since retired from the Virgin Blue fleet and heading elsewere after being known as Virgins first 737-700 for its flying years so far. [Canon 50D]
Remarks: This old girl is temporarily without its propeller whilst waiting to go into the Wiltshire Aircraft Maintenance hangar. Built in 1961. Popham New Year's Day Fly-in 2011.
