Remarks: A short night flight from Bangalore to Chennai. Only 10 people on this ATR-72, thanks to all the problems with Kingfisher schedules and the negative publicity. The crisis in Dec 2011-Jan 2012 was an appetizer for what happened in March, when financial problems led to massive cancellations and grounding of most of their aircraft. Kingfisher now operates a fleet of 20 aircraft as against its fleet of 64 a few months earlier.
