Remarks: A close up study whilst roaring off Rwy 24L with plenty of vapour action going on over the wing. Also notice the amount of reflections here, caused by the late afternoon light. Dedicated to James R, Dan V, Sam Chui and to the rest of the regulars who we bumped into, for a great day's worth of shooting!
Remarks: Saving the best till last!! Shot of the day goes to this Biman DC10. We left viewing park early to go southside and as we were trekking down the footpath we saw it on finals. So, the decision was made that we would stay until it departed and what a good decision it was. 10 mins earlier the sun was obscured but came out in time for the perfect shot. Thanks to Dan and Dale for a good day's shooting.

Remarks: Catching the low sunlight as this sleek and slender DC-10-30 sails off into the late afternoon sky. Was fantastic to see this aircraft once again for me. Anyone know what the deal is with the right side of the aircraft above the window line ??? Looks very odd! - My last shot with my trusty Canon D60. This camera has served me well but its limitations were hindering. Time for an upgrade in the shape of the Canon 30D. Looking foreward to seeing how it performs!
Remarks: An old visitor to my home airport of London Heathrow is seen here in perfect conditions at Manchester blasting off the active with that sweet whine of the CF6's being very audible as she roars past our group of sun drenched photographers. Made the whole day worthwhile!
Remarks: Just what I had been waiting for! In Flightcheck it had said it was scheduled to land at 15:25pm from Dhaka, 50 minutes later it finally showed up.
