Remarks: You had to be there! this photo only gives you a taster, the sound was unbelivable, the whine of the jets, with the grunt of the Merlins... truly amazing!
Remarks: I found the battery switch, didnt have enough time to locate the starter :-P As far as I have searched, I could not find a shot of a panel of the Tucano, so this is a first for JP. Enjoy.
Remarks: I can recognise this aircraft in an instant due to its unique livery. Also because we pulled it across the northern taxiway of RAF Northolt (all funds went to charity). You can see the ground personell removing the ropes with which we pulled the very, very heavy aircraft, even with about 35 people, we reconed we were pulling about 1.5 tonnes each on average.
Remarks: Here is my pilot flaring to land, but in doing so stalls the aircraft inches above the runway, making for a very heavy landing. Overall i gave that landing a 9, on the richter scale :-)
