Remarks: The Royal Jordanian Falcons at the start of what was to be a fantastic display!
Remarks: Flying by silvestone race circuit and heliport. This one goes out to all you F1 fans.
Remarks: Thanks to the very kind owner of this lovely Jodel for not only taking me up in it, but letting me see how she flies. A truly wonderful machine!
Remarks: You had to be there! this photo only gives you a taster, the sound was unbelivable, the whine of the jets, with the grunt of the Merlins... truly amazing!
Remarks: 777 coming in RWY27R, there I was, literally lying on my back on the grass, taking this shot. Absolutely tremendous feeling.
Remarks: Old fashioned panel of the hawk, with its very wierd 'stick' throttle.
Remarks: Hovering inches above the ground, lovely frozen effect.
Remarks: Panel of the Squirrel. Thanks for the pilot for letting me fiddle with his aircraft.
Remarks: I found the battery switch, didnt have enough time to locate the starter :-P As far as I have searched, I could not find a shot of a panel of the Tucano, so this is a first for JP. Enjoy.
Remarks: I can recognise this aircraft in an instant due to its unique livery. Also because we pulled it across the northern taxiway of RAF Northolt (all funds went to charity). You can see the ground personell removing the ropes with which we pulled the very, very heavy aircraft, even with about 35 people, we reconed we were pulling about 1.5 tonnes each on average.
Remarks: Aerial view of Oxford University. White patches seem to be little clouds. Credit to Daniel Nicholson for editing help.
Remarks: Here is my pilot flaring to land, but in doing so stalls the aircraft inches above the runway, making for a very heavy landing. Overall i gave that landing a 9, on the richter scale :-)
Remarks: Coming into land, crosswind landing. Thanks to my pilot for a wonderful flight (and a heavy landing) lol.
Remarks: View of Oxford Town, flying the 115 "tutor" aircraft of 6 AEF squadron.
Remarks: Mean and moody looking. My 100th pic on JP :-D
