Remarks: The pictures shows the complete apron and terminal. Sadly not much action takes place at this location. Just a single C-295 is parked. [1600px]
Remarks: Before turning left for a runway 11 arrival we passed the airport as seen on this photo. I took this photo from my KLM 747-400 flight from Amsterdam to Curacao.
Remarks: This is an aerial view of Florence airport. As you can see it has an unusual runway wich is only 1750 m (1,09 mi) long. Landing and take off is pretty difficult becouse you have mountains on the north side and an highway on the south side. Biggest scheduled commercial planes wich land here are A319 and B717. Shooted from I-IAFO many thanks to my friend Michele wich has made possible the realization of this photo.
Remarks: [1600px] A panoramic vista of McCarran Airport is provided courtesy of seat 2F aboard an Alaska Airlines 737 as we prepare to join the downwind to runway 7R. Of note in this photo: construction of Terminal 3, which is now home to all international carriers serving LAS, as well as several domestic airlines, has yet to even begin. Also, it's interesting to note the 30+ US Airways aircraft parked at the A/B concourses. US shuttered its former America West hub here in the wake of the 2008 fuel crisis, but at this point in the summer of 2007, it was still nearly at its peak, offering over 200 daily flights to 70+ international and domestic markets.
Remarks: An overview of the field and ramp at HND as shot from the observation deck on top of Terminal 1, the terminal used by JAL. Apart from a few JAL aircraft at the gate not much else can be seen, it was a rather quiet few hours at HND. I was incredibly lucky with the weather however, the sky stayed that clear and that blue all day long. (5D3/17-40F4L)
