Remarks:DG7792 taxiing towards the Budget Terminal after arriving from Clark. SEAIR, based in the Philippines, operates a once-daily flight between Clark and Singapore. This aircraft was delivered to the airline just over a month ago (leased from Singapore based carrier - Tiger Airways). First photo of SEAIR's A320 in the database. Last but not least, this particular aircraft carries a special quote in order to promote Philippines as a 'better' holiday destination among the South East Asian countries, which says 'It's more fun in the Philippines'.
Remarks: A desperate attempt to take a breathtaking view of Hong Kong that we had while following the approach procedure to runway 25R. Stonecutters Bridge and Victoria Harbour are visible as we are gliding through the clouds to our destination.
Remarks: It's the end of July and we're supposed to be in the middle of the rainy season, but for the last few weeks we have enjoyed some pretty dry weather conditions, including clear skies and winds from the Northeast. This has allowed us to see some interesting RWY07 departures, like this A340 taking off to Madrid minutes before sunset.
Remarks: Approximately half way through our 270 degree turn on departure from runway 16 on board HB-IOC - the Swiss A321 and on our way to Lisbon. Looks almost like lined up to land on runway 32, if I was sitting in the cockpit. Note the usual rush for departures on runway 16 around midday. I fondly remember my first visit to ZRH in 2000 when the place was packed with MD11s. Also those "E" gates were nothing more than a few holes in the ground at the time.
Remarks: 23 aircraft, 3 of Gatwicks biggest carriers and the sun creating a great contrast as I depart on my annual trip to Skiathos. Canon 600D Canon 18-55.
