Remarks: Here part of the Las Vegas Air Cargo Ramp is pictured. This picture is significant because the MD-11F aircraft (N576FE) arrived early just after 7:00 on 7/13/08 to LAS after reporting a maintenance issue requiring immediate repair. It was operating as FX415 out of ONT en route to MEM and was diverted accordingly to Las Vegas the nearest location. The aircraft was grounded here through 7/14/08 and was repaired during the day. The MD-11F is a rare variety almost never seen here. The DC10-10F in the second position at the gate is the regularly scheduled freighter for Las Vegas. A very good day indeed! All except the unending heat of course.
Remarks: Overview from the roof of the carparking. The famous "Strip scenerys" will be taken from this place.
Casino Luxor is now the decor.

Remarks: McCarran International Airport and the entire Las Vegas Strip viewed from 30,000 ft. Somewhere near the center of the picture is a favorite spotters' location (across from Mandalay Bay); the tallest free-standing structure in western North America is the Stratosphere Tower, at top right corner.
Remarks: A panoramic overview of McCarran Airport's Terminal 2 (Charter and International Terminal), seen from a departing Delta 757 at about 12:30pm. Currently at the gates: an Aviacsa 737-300, BMI A330-200, Westjet 737-800, and Zoom 757-200.
Remarks: A very busy time for departures at LAS.......notice the aircraft approaching the airport at the top left of this photo.Shot from Jetblue's "Blue Jean Baby" N544JB
Remarks: View of the Southwest terminal and Tower at KLAS as we depart for New York on board Jetblue's "100% Blue".....note "Arizona One" pushing back at the gate.......
