Remarks:Cathay 8159 being the first of three charters from Hong Kong for the Chinese New Year Period. Amazingly the first service happened to be operated by the oneworld A333 which is very rare in Australia. This also made it the first oneworld scheme to visit OOL. A great day for international operations out of the Gold Coast as we had flights from KIX, NRT, AKL, KUL, SIN and HKG all within three hours.
Remarks:Mount Cook 205 seen about to pull into the bay after the short 1 hour flight from Auckland. This would soon fly me back to AKL on my way home to Australia.
Remarks:Link 425 on descent into NPE from AKL with Hawke's Bay in view as well as the Napier-Taupo road below. This was my first turboprop flight and additionally I logged my 100th hour of flying at the end of this journey! Taken from seat 11A.
Remarks:New Zealand 638 in the awesome All Blacks scheme turning off her engines after arrival from Queenstown with chocks being put in place. I was stoked when this rocked up and parked right in front of me allowing me to shoot it to my heart's content! [1400px]
