Remarks: Christophe Jacquard/Corsair Warbirds owned photographic recconnaissance Spitfire at Duxford during Flying Legends 2007. Total of 225 Griffon V-12 piston engine powered XIXs were built. This French owned aircraft has a modified Griffon 65 engine with conta-rotaring propeller from an Avro Shackleton, so that's the reason for six blades. Swedish Air Force operated with 50 XIXs after WW2. This particular aircraft carries Normandy invasion markings with PR blue colour scheme for "PS890".
