Remarks: [1200px] Here she comes! The beautiful MD-11F of Centurion is seen here thundering down on runway 13. Finally taking off after a long stay on Fortaleza ground! Nice roar of those GE engines and great jetwash, specially from the engine mounted on the tail, blurring that building. Dedicated to Caput! Big fan of the Medonzão! ;)
Remarks: Very rare daylight departure! The marvellous MD-11F of Centurion rotates on runway 13, leaving a pretty strange smoke from the main gears! This MD-11 landed at 2AM but, due to the closure of the airport from 5AM to 11AM (due to work on runway) , she was ''stuck'' in here. Now, she finally takes off, pretty delayed!

Remarks: The famous Azores Glider taxies by to take off via Kaagbaan. This A330 made a forced landing at Lajes airport in 2002, after running out of fuel in the middle of the Atlantic. Fortunately no one perished in the incident. Too bad the terrible light :(
Remarks: [1200px] Borobudur being pushed back by one of those huge push back tugs that you can easily find at Schiphol. This tractor is really giant, makes the 777 look a bit small! hahahaha
Remarks: Nice paintscheme on this romanian 737! Taxing to takeoff via runway 25L, probably off to Bucharest. This 737-400 is an ex-Lufthansa machine! Nice jet! :D
Remarks: [1400px] Sleeping beauty parked at the cargo terminal...one of the most beautiful planes ever made. Unfortunately she has a broken engine and many people say that she'll not fly again :/ Update: it seems that she's flying again as of 2012! This beauty deserves the skies, not the scrapman :D
Remarks: [1400px] Finally an MD-11 landed again in Fortaleza, after 3 years (last one was a TAM in 2008). This beautiful bird of Centurion came in from Amsterdam only for a fuel stop. Next destination: SBKP. The MD-11 arrived using callsign Charlie Whiskey Charlie 4853 at 00:00LT and took off at 02:00LT. The MD-11 is my 2nd favorite aircraft! Great night of spotting, many spotters were together and it was a very pleasant stay. This MD-11 is an old friend of brazilian aviators: she's ex-Varig PP-VOP. Dedicated with love to my girlfriend Flávia, thank you honey for being so positive to me! Update:Sadly, this plane was written off at VCP in 10/13/12, after a collapse of the left main gear. Rest in peace, old friend :(
Remarks: Nice american registered Falcon taxing to take off via runway 13. First shot of her with new paintscheme and winglets installed. I love these medium/big bizjets :)
Remarks: [1200px] Panning 1/60s F18 of this wicked landing! Embraer pilots flare too much!!! Here you can see exactely when the smoke was being released by the main gear tires.
Remarks: [1200px] Iberia 6031 had an upgrade today! A340-600 instead of A340-300. Taking off to Recife under a very nice light. This is the first time ever that an A340-600 visited Fortaleza and i'm so glad I've captured it! There goes the flying pencil...
