Remarks: Libya Crises :- One of the various diversions we had during the thousands of Close Air Support missions being flown by Nato.
Carrying 2 pairs of Paveway Laser Guided Bombs integrated with the Damocles laser designator and targeting pod seen on the centreline forward point (between the fuel tanks), and a pair of MICA infra red (heat seaking) air-to-air missles and wing tips, which is a newly evolved version of the radar guided, beyond visual range Super 530D barely visible on inner underwing points.

Remarks: Diverted to Malta at 0130LT due to one of this pair was badly damaged.The 'undamaged' Rafale B is seen backtracking for departure.These are the first Rafale B that ever landed in MLA.
Remarks: Landed at 0130LT with another RafaleB as OUP828 after decalring emergency.One of the aircraft was badly damaged and the pilot was scared of fire on board.In the morning a CN-235 was sent with technicians.The undamaged Rafale is seen departing while the other one was repaired and departed in the evening.
