Remarks: (Del 1/09) rolling on Rwy 16R as EK412 across the Tasman Sea to Auckland just after the airline commenced A380 operations to Australia/New Zealand.
Remarks: Another photo from the back garden, this A380 was captured heading on an easterly track at an amazing 670 mph, bound for Dubai, from JFK. It would take another 6 hours to get home, making an interesting comparison with the journey time for the Dubai A380 service which starts on the ground, down the road at Manchester Airport!
Remarks:"Emirates 412 Super" taxiing to the bay along alpha after arrival from Dubai running 11 hours late giving us the chance to shoot this great scheme in awesome winter sunset light. The aircraft would later depart to Auckland before returning the following morning as EK8413. [Canon 500D]
