Remarks: Pilatus PC-6/B2-H4 Turbo Porter (wearing special markings - 50 years ALAT = Aviation Légère de l'Armée de Terre) from the "Armée de TERRE" arriving at Koksijde Air Base. It belongs to the ECTM squadron, based at Montauban.
Remarks: Trust me, this is one of the most arkward aircraft to get into in the world. getting back out is another story altogether. ( I nearly fell over while getting out).

Remarks: When i finnaly got into the flight deck of the pilatus, i noticed that it has exelent visibility. i expected to see a hole in the horizon, caused by the panel. but the visibility is good in the aircraft. the pilot told me that the pilatus is very heavy on the controls as it has a very long wing which causes high G loading. so you need to be a muscle man to fly it.
