Remarks: Four of FedEx's work horse aircraft await loading at LAX on a sunny morning. Note there are two A300's and two MD10's soon to be replaced by 767 freighters (1200x800 pixels).
Remarks: LAX's theme building is nicely illuminated at night. Resembles a flying saucer that has landed on its four legs. A restaurant with a sweeping view of the airport is suspended beneath two arches that form the legs. The Los Angeles City Council designated the building a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument in 1992. Visitors are able to take the elevator up to the roof of the "Theme Building". Unfortunately only opened for public during the weekends.
Remarks: A night view of LAX northside as VPE on the right gets pushed out for departure and and VPF will take its place on the gate as the second of 2 daily virgin australia departures to Australia.
Remarks: A great indication of LAX's international presence can be seen in this shot, showing LAN's 767 CC-CRG, plus a Thai 777, Air China 777 and a Singapore A380 (1200x800 pixels).

Remarks: Early morning aerial view of LAX's Tom Bradley terminal, hosting a variety of international carriers. Notice that KAL has both an A380 and A330 parked at gates...the latter of which is said to be shortly phased out from service to LA (1200x800 pixels).
