Remarks: LAX's theme building is nicely illuminated at night. Resembles a flying saucer that has landed on its four legs. A restaurant with a sweeping view of the airport is suspended beneath two arches that form the legs. The Los Angeles City Council designated the building a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument in 1992. Visitors are able to take the elevator up to the roof of the "Theme Building". Unfortunately only opened for public during the weekends.
Remarks: Early morning aerial view of LAX's Tom Bradley terminal, hosting a variety of international carriers. Notice that KAL has both an A380 and A330 parked at gates...the latter of which is said to be shortly phased out from service to LA (1200x800 pixels).
Remarks: A great competition image of AA and DL in dueling mode, all with Thai looking on.... In the shot are AA B777 N774AA, DL B767 N121DE and Thai B777 HS-TKK...you'll see this shot on the April 2013 cover of Airways magazine (1280x960 pixels).
