Remarks: Beavers and Ducks. This is the view from the top of the stairs at gate B2. N440QX, the OSU plane, just brought me and the other passengers in from PDX. Really cool thing to come into this gate.
Remarks: Sea-Tac Airport as seen from the air during takeoff onboard AC8092 on the way to Vancouver, BC. Note the many widebodies at the South Satellite Terminal (including some Delta heavies, LH A333, AF A343 and Korean Air B772).
Remarks: A sight not to be seen again as twilight prefigures Northwest's ensuing merger into Delta and Delta's newest livery which will soon appear on all five of the DL and NW airframes shown.
Remarks: Alaskan Airlines Cargo centre and Sea-Tac's tower viewed from AS458 (SEA-LAX, N782AS) as we climb out from 34R (see next in series ... Click Here)
Remarks: I've wanted to catch this shot for longer than I can really remember. With the Eskimo races being represented in the airline's artwork, fittingly the two main tribes; Inuit and Yupik, can be seen as being represented by the two different versions of B737 while the MD similarly alludes to the third related group, the Aleut. Although this was taken from the roof of one of the car parks, they lie behind the terminal at some distance to the ramp so photo opportunities are quite restricted from them.
