Remarks: Taken from the Departure Terminal at Doha's Intl Apt while waiting for my flight to Dubai. The aircraft to the near left is an Amiri Aircraft Bombardier parked on the VIP bays right opposite to the VIP Terminal. Followed by a Qatari A330-300 A7-AEE and finally the longest aircraft in the skies today the Qatari A340-600. CLICK HERE to see the Qatar Amiri aircraft in full.
Remarks: The VIP/Royal ramp (which is also used for mere mortals when not in use by the big guys). Interestingly all three Royal jets took off within five minutes of each other.
Remarks: Photo of the new Doha airport under construction. Photo taken through window of an EK A330-200 A6-EAN on my return flight the same day to DXB as we were taking off and made a right turn. The new airport is parallel and just 3-4 miles away from the current one.
