Remarks: 'City of Tamworth' departs Sydney and Australia for the very last time upon retirement. Ferried to Marana with an uncertain future. This photo is dedicated to our favourite Flight Engineer 'Plucka'.
Remarks: The final departure of Boeing 747-338 VH-EBW from Australian shores, bound for Honolulu and then Marana Airpark in Arizona to be broken up for spares. Dedicated to the last of Qantas's Flight Engineers! 1.4 x @ 1200px
Remarks: Sadly this was the last ever arrival of a Qantas 747-300 into Sydney. These planes served Qantas very well and will be greatly missed. I was lucky enough to catch a flight on this aircraft to Perth in 2006 so this photo has a bit of sentimental value. [Canon 350D]
Remarks: [1299] EBW is seen here on short final of RWY 16 arriving from Los Angeles via Auckland as QF026. Note the smokes at the exhaust of the engines, pretty old huh!
