Remarks: [1400 px] My primary aim of uploading this pic is not to show the sad state of various Kingfisher Airlines birds scattered across various Indian airports, but to serve as a remembrance of one of my finest Domestic flights which came aboard this very bird back in 2007. Still, this bird is much better condition than some of the others & I hope it finds a new home with some different airline & is back in the air soon!
Remarks: Passing over Mumbai's main RWY 27 and seconds from touch down. The morning rush at Mumbai is well under-way. The morning SQ Boeing 777 flight to Singapore is holding behind two 9W Boeing 737-800s (not in picture). Behind the SQ is an IndiGo A320 (hidden by the wing) followed by a Go Air A320, as the Air Mauritius A330 and a Boeing 737 wait for their turn to exit the international terminal ramp and turn onto taxiway. In the far background, the international ramp and one of Air India's hangars.
Dedicated to all fellow spotters in Mumbai.
Remarks: Age is beginning to show on the Kingfisher A320 fleet. Just look at the patch work and dirt on the plane.
Here the aircraft speeds down RWY 27 on its take off roll for a flight to Bangalore. Photo dedicated to my friend Capt. Nikhil Thiagarajan was the First Officer on this flight.
Remarks: Kingfisher ship 'Bravo' moving along in the evening departures queue as a narrow body rotates off runway 27 amidst this spectacular evening light.
