Remarks: Became EI-BSY (Ryanair) and 5N-ESF. Built in 1980. Crashed 4 May 2002 in Kano, Nigeria on flight from Jos to Lagos via Kano as EAS Airlines flight 4226. Airplane stalled shortly after takeoff and plunged in urban area killing 78 on ground and 77 aboard
Remarks: c/n 266 - acquired in 1981 by Tarom, it was leased to Inex Adria Airways in 1985 as YU-AKN and in 1986 as YU-ANM with Adria Airways name. Leased also in 1987 to Ryanair as EI-BSY... Was my first BAC111 in picture and I'm always remember the engine noise who was terrible during take off and so smoker... Seven year later it was crashed at Kano, Nigeria with EAS Airlines as 5N-EAS
