Remarks: As she sits in the afternoon sun, it is difficult to believe that this aircraft is over 31 years old. She first flew in August 1975 and was delivered to British Airways in September of that year as G-BCOF. After a period of storage at Hatfield from 1992 to 1995 she began the long flight to Australia to take up the registration of VH-IMK with Impulse Airlines, Independent Air Freighters, and Horizon Airlines. On the 21st of March 2006 she departed Australia and headed west to South Africa, where she was captured wearing her smart Stars Away Aviation colour scheme, a livery which still incorporates some of markings of the airline that she started her life with all those years ago.
