Remarks: This photograph taken at the 2006 Africa Aerospace and Defence Expo is of Sasol Tiger pilot Martin van Straten. It was taken approximately 20 minutes before he was sadly and tragically killed in this aircraft while doing an aerobatic display. The aircraft plunged into the sea off of Cape Town, the cause at the time of submitting this photo is still unknown. This is probably one of the last photos taken of this aircraft and of Martin. Goodbye to a great aviator!
