Remarks: The newest Aer Lingus cabin product, complete with PTVs and the 'standard' Recaro seat - which had a very generous recline, I feel. It's too bad we went retro with the old cabin on the return trip. If you look closely, you can see my airplane buddy David spying on me from row 19 (he thinks he's less geeky than me).
Remarks: The captain brings the nose down on runway 22 as his right-hand-man takes a picture from the best seat in the house. First photo of this ship in new colors, which I'm actually beginning to like!
Remarks: Etihad's Pearl Zone cabin on the A340-500 offers seats with a 72" seat pitch, 180° recline, and 15" LCD screen for 28 lucky, lucky passengers. Seen here before departure to Abu Dhabi as EY504.
Remarks: It's great to see some heavy metal from Delta back at JFK. Here, Delta 17 gets pushed back for Atlanta after returning from Mumbai earlier in the morning.
Remarks: Seen here after operating Shuttle America 7625 from IND. Thanks to a 45 minute hold over Kokomo, Indiana, I had all of 10 minutes - instead of 55 - to get from Concourse C to B for my connection to LGA. Actually, it was more like 10 minutes to take this cockpit shot, schmooze with the crew, make a wrong turn and almost miss my connection to LGA, but that's neither here nor there...
