Remarks: While most photographers already left the airport of St.Moritz due to the weather getting worse the sun appeared again for a few minutes nicely illuminating this Gulf during departure.
Remarks: One of the last arrivals before the sun disappeared behind the mountains was this Legacy. Obviously a really clean jet as the light conditions with all these reflections would reveal every dirty spot easily.
Remarks: 'Romeo-Yankee' was one of the few aircraft parked at Saint Moritz on a very cold morning. From a close point of view even a Hawker looks big and mighty unlike the Falcon 900 in the back.
Remarks: Runway 21 approaches are not very common at this aerodrome so I was very happy to catch this beautiful aircraft in perfect afternoon sunshine arriving from this direction. Thanks for the good company - you know who you are.
Remarks: This airfield is well known for the unique light conditions the combinaton of snow, dark forests and sunlight can produce and the Falcon seen just before touch down was no exception. Reflections are all over the clean fuse including the piano keys and some of the landscape visible.
Remarks: Just after the sun appeared from behind the mountains 'Zulu-Hotel' is captured resting on the apron after a crystal clear night with temperatures well below zero degrees centigrade
Remarks: The scenic background around the airport is already well known among aviation photographers and this bizjet which seems to disappear in front of the snowy peaks shows just how close the mountains really are.
Remarks: 'Sheik' keeps a close eye on the hills of Styria off to his right hand side as he banks his 'Falcon' towards them using all the power of the jet.
Remarks: The 'Frecce Tricolori' captured during one of several breathtaking formation cross manoeuvres during their display above the beach of Lignano.
