Remarks: Cathay's version of Premium Economy Class, though nothing ground breaking for passengers it proves that CX is doing the right thing by adding this new product. It is well received by passengers on long haul flights.
Remarks: With its 2nd RWY in operation, spotting at the KIX observation deck wasn't as fun as before. Luck was on my side for me to catch this TG A330 in some desirable lighting condition.
Remarks: KE's 747F is a regular visitor to KIX while its 2 x daily pax flight are operated by 747/777/330. I'm lucky today to catch its 2 747 in one frame, would be better if it's a -8! :)
Remarks: First revealed in 2007, the "herringbone" Business Class is showing its age and a mid-life makeover including new seat cover material and color, and a white color partition brightened up the cabin.
Remarks: Just another Virgin's A320 until I dig it up on the net - FOAM (Friends of Arjay Miller) purchased the right to name this aircraft for $60,000. The group are alums from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. You can look up their stories on many websites.
Remarks: Just a reminder for spotters planning a trip to Asahikawa, the observation deck is now opened only for summer, just like the one at CTS. IMO, the deck provide some very beautiful shots in the morning with the snow capped mountains as backdrop, such a shame. Photo taken at the park beside the terminal.
