Remarks: Pulling into Gate B7 hours early in preparation for tonight's flight as Emirates 355 back to Dubai. Strange gate assignment as Emirates houses itself at Terminal 1 whereas Gate B7 is part of Terminal 3. Reason being the shortage of A380 gates at T1 that were undergoing repair works.
Remarks:Biman sent in their new triple sevens for a period of time last year. Now they serve short routes like Chittagong as well as the long haul ones like London.
Remarks: Thai AirAsia's 'Carabao' liveried A320 getting prepared to Bangkok. A difficult shot to pull of as the time frame between the aerobridge retraction and pushback is very minute, thus giving very little room for error. Glad i made it work though, Thanks Jerrold!
Remarks:Speedbird 16 starts her engines for departure to London Heathrow. WEF 1st April 2013, the tag-along flight from London to Sydney via Singapore has been up-gauged to the newer 777's instead of the ageing 747's.
Remarks:Martinair 95 arrives in bright morning sunshine carrying cargo all the way from Amsterdam Schipol. Always great to see a non-KLM cargo 747 on this flight and what a surprise for it to be a special scheme!
Remarks: A delayed departure in Korean Cargo 364 enables us spotters to catch her in the first light of the day. Taxiing to the active for takeoff back to Seoul Incheon via Penang.
Remarks: The newest albino jet arriving back to base from a short hop from Jakarta as SQ 955. She will then be readied for an afternoon departure to Tokyo Haneda.
Remarks: The Finnish Oneworld starts her engines, ready to embark on a long haul track back to Helsinki on a really hazy day caused by nearby forest fires in Sumatra.
Remarks: The older business class seats (as compared to the cirrus ones found on the 33G's and the 777-300ER's) on Flight CX736 bound for Hong Kong. While these seats were comfortable in bed-mode, the high wall dividers made it claustrophobic and obstructive when lounging or dining.
