Remarks: When the departure for this bird was listed as 10 minutes early, you just know that that won't happen, and indeed, BG85 pushed back from C17 49 minutes late, and much to my delight, facing the VM. Here she is taxiing to 20C, amidst much shutter clicks from the crowd that thronged the VM!
Remarks:'Hello Kitty Happy Music Time' makes her first ever appearance in Singapore. BR225 seen approaching on Runway 20R in undesirable weather. A scheduled 77W being replaced with a Hello Kitty A332... I'll take that irregardless of the weather.
Remarks: I was just randomly checking FlightAware for the whereabouts of 9V-SWI (I had absolutely no inclination which flight it was operating, and was planning to leave), when I saw on the screen that it was 'Arriving soon'. Turning around, i sighted a white wide-body on approach... It was indeed the aircraft that I had randomly checked just seconds ago, arriving as SQ325 from FRA. The all-white fuselage against the grey clouds just make for a good contrast, and notice how the body and the tail fit into the 'darker part' of the sky.
Remarks:UM774 is pushed-back with the blinking anti-collision light captured after a short stop-over in SIN. She had just arrived from HRE a while back and will continue her journey to PEK. I personally love the classic livery of Air Zimbabwe. Unfortunately, this sight is history, never to be seen again.
Remarks: 2 Cathay aircrafts (along with a Air Hong Kong behind) taxi-ing one behind the other to the runway for take-off in Hong Kong? Apparently not! Instead, they are designated to park side by side at the T1 Central Apron in Singapore Changi Airport, and arrived at the same time too.
Remarks: EVA Air usually sends in their newer B777-300/ERs for the BR225 flight to SIN. However, this Rainbow liveried B77W, one of the 3 in the fleet, makes an uncommon appearance finally, after a LONG absence (for this reg).
Remarks: After a year of waiting, I've finally gotten this beauty on camera in Singapore! CX712 has just lifted off bound for Bangkok. The sun appeared just as this stunner began her take-off roll. Patience does indeed pay, what a great way to end a year-long wait!
