Remarks: Well this has to be one of the best Airport Overview's i have ever taken... Not only can you see a great selection of aircraft you also have the beauty of Mt Fuji looming large in the background. I love being able to capture the beauty of aviation and the beauty of nature in one frame. The newer International terminal at HND is seen in full swing in the background while a 777-200 from ANA is seen slowing down on the active runway in the foreground. (5D3/70-200F2.8LIS)
Remarks: The big old 744 from Seoul, South Korea arrives at Haneda. This bird carries a special sticker celebrating 'Visit Korea'. The blue from the fuselage looked stunning in the bright winter sun. (5D3/70-200F2.8LIS)
Remarks: 'Sweet Dreamer' lands on 27L as VS901 from Tokyo's Narita Airport. Love these 600's, they look awkward but still pleasing to photograph! (5D2/70-200F2.8LIS)
Remarks: Always nice to have a bit of variety! All i ever shoot is 777 from Asiana so getting a shot of one of their 767's made me rather happy. Looking great as she powers away from Tokyo Haneda to head back to Seoul, plenty of jet wash engulfing the waters behind. It also gives great perspective to just how big that bridge is behind the aircraft! (5D3/70-200F2.8LIS)
Remarks: Well... what can i say... the light at the end of my photo session that day was just amazing. The sky stayed clear and the light during the last hour was just golden, as can be seen here. I was also lucky enough to catch one of the few remaining 737-800's from JAL Express in the older livery. This was the perfect end to a great day's photography. (5D3/70-200F2.8LIS)
Remarks: An overview of the field and ramp at HND as shot from the observation deck on top of Terminal 1, the terminal used by JAL. Apart from a few JAL aircraft at the gate not much else can be seen, it was a rather quiet few hours at HND. I was incredibly lucky with the weather however, the sky stayed that clear and that blue all day long. (5D3/17-40F4L)
Remarks: Ship 329 takes to the sky at the end of an amazing day shooting photos at HND. The view from the ANA Terminal deck is just fantastic. (5D3/70-200F2.8LIS)
