Remarks: One of the best landings I have ever seen, the pilot held it up for ages, getting quite low at the back, using the air to slow down, he/she eventually put her down.
You're right about leaving it low and late... Excellent shot, by the way - your perspective makes the good old 744 look like she's a heavy bird indeed. By the way, most people arriving at YSSY by air actually won't see the billboard (which is probably a good thing...)

I'm interested to know why the pilot would do that on runway 25, considering heavies have enough difficulty slowing it down without losing runway space in the air. I would think that reversers and air brakes would slow the a/c down faster than 'sinking' onto the runway
