| Remarks: I was told it is difficult to take pictures at Victorville. Well, it is not, really. There is a perimeter road running all around the airport. But it is a very bad dirt road. You will need a 4-wheel drive and a ladder as the fences are quite high. The road is bad but you can take great pictures from all over the airport. The staff and construction workers we met were nice and helpful, no problem at all while taking pictures. Be early because heat haze can ruin all your pictures here. When I was there it had rained and without the Jeep we couldn't have done it. We forgot the ladder, but then the great spotters saying comes into play: Don't be gentle, it's a rental! |
