Remarks: This is the view from the Berlin Schoenefeld South facing viewing gallery / observation deck. In 2012 it will become history as the airport becomes Brandenburg, construction can be seen in the background on the left of the image. On the day of my visit, there was a 2 Euro admission fee and the deck was open 1000-1800hrs. Successful images here depend on luck, as there are several taxiways leading in or out of the main ramp, and therefore the angle of the sun can be a problem. Visible are 3 Germanwings A319's (D-AKNM D-AKNN and D-AKNO). Also in the background are Easyjet A319 G-EZIU remote parked between duties and Syrianair A320 YK-AKD heading for the terminal.
